Considering Therapy
Therapy offers a safe place to explore goals, understand familiar
patterns, accept past failures and establish new and healthier
relationships. A wise person once said that therapy is like looking for
someone who you believe is lost. Considering that you might feel a bit
lost right now, therapy can engage you in the process of creating
changes for yourself. 
Choosing a Therapist
Of course it might feel a bit unsettling to start therapy. This is
normal. It is understandable that the prospect of telling someone your
problems could delay getting started, but therapists are trained to be
able to handle all kinds of issues, and unlike friends or family we
don?t give advice. We listen and work with you in defining the best
approach to understanding your issues. I invite you to call me and talk
briefly about the problem you are experiencing. I will offer you my
impressions and if you don't feel that we are an appropriate match I
will provide you with names and resources of people who might be more
helpful.
