San Francisco groups to prevent depression’s return
This six week, MBCT group to prevent depression starts in September. In it you will learn meditative skills to reduce emotional reactivity. If you are tired of the fear of a depressive relapse this group is for you. The San Francisco group meets six Thursday nights from 6:30pm- 8:30 pm. It begins on September 20th, 2018 and ends on October 25, 2018 .
In this group, you will learn to step back and gain new perspectives on the ups and downs that contribute to changing moods and emotions. You will also be encouraged to notice and respond to mood states can contribute to a downward spiral of negative automatic thoughts and lead to depression. Most of all, you will learn to stay present to your experience and begin to accept the ups and downs of life without having to rid yourself of any feeling or experience.
